ROLE SUMMARY

The Franchise Systems Integration Specialist is tasked with orchestrating, coordinating, and overseeing all functions related to the amalgamation of franchise data and systems into the broader organizational information framework. This role is pivotal in strategizing and managing the processes necessary for delivering user applications and systems essential for cohesive organizational operations. Daily responsibilities will include the administration of franchise applications and systems, along with data transfer, integration, storage, and reporting. The specialist will be expected to transform data into actionable insights, guiding educational and business decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, implement, and oversee the integration of new applications into the existing network infrastructure and software across the organization.
  • Engage in and support capacity planning while developing long-term strategic objectives for systems and software in collaboration with end-users and departmental leaders.
  • Ensure that any new software integrations align with functional requirements, system compliance, data privacy, data warehousing, and other critical specifications.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of current systems, devising testing strategies for enhancements or optimizations.
  • Research and propose recommendations for client/server hardware, software, and protocols, as well as integration products and services to support procurement and development initiatives.
  • Assess, install, configure, and deploy new applications, systems software, products, and enhancements to existing network infrastructure throughout the organization.
  • Examine documentation and technical specifications of any new application under consideration to ascertain its intended functionality.
  • Address incoming problem tickets and assist desk inquiries from end users to resolve application and software issues within critical systems.
  • Work diligently to enhance or refine business processes through integration, or, when necessary, mitigate the impact of integration on those processes.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical methods, and provide ongoing reporting.
  • Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for further optimization of these systems.
  • Coordinate and conduct thorough testing, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
  • Communicate application issues and challenges to key stakeholders, including management and end users.
  • Monitor, test, and optimize system performance; maintain and provide system log files as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware and standards.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, firewall management, and database administration.
  • Working technical experience with relational database servers.
  • In-depth knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • Understanding of best practices in IT operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in optical systems.
  • Experience in franchise operations.
