Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to support a customer base in rapidly adopting Atlassian tools. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jira, Confluence, and Jira Assets, with a strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and experience in designing and implementing complex solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and administer multiple Jira Software (Agile Scrum) and Service Desk/Service Management projects
  • Design and implement Confluence spaces leveraging advanced functionality and design techniques to provide sophisticated solutions with a high degree of usability
  • Design and administration of multiple Jira Assets schemas supporting a variety of use-cases that extend Assets's functionality well beyond core asset management capabilities
  • Work with customer teams to understand their business processes and needs, help them understand the capabilities of the Atlassian tools, and develop solutions that deliver significant value
  • Provide informal, unstructured training sessions with end-users to help them become more self-sufficient at administering and managing their own projects and spaces
  • Create skeleton technical Jira project reference documentation in Confluence for use by other Jira project administrators
Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related curriculum from an accredited institution preferred, but not required
  • 10+ years or more in a technology-related field
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required
  • Experience supporting multiple Jira projects, Confluence spaces, and Assets schemas simultaneously in support of different user teams
  • Experience supporting Agile Scrum teams
  • Advanced JQL and IQL skills (including Scriptrunner)
  • Experience with advanced Confluence page design
  • Experience with Jira automations (legacy and project), including using smart values
  • Experience analyzing and translating structured datasets into Jira Assets schema designs
  • Atlassian certification highly desirable
  • Jira & Assets API experience a plus
  • Certified Scrum Master certification a plus
