Position Responsibilities:
The staff nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients throughout their lifecycle by utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. This role involves adhering to organizational policies and demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse will also:
- Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum Experience: Open to new graduates of nursing programs.
- Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia and BLS CPR certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) degree and advanced certification in a specialty area, if applicable.
