As a Customer Service Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to engage with designated clients, overseeing shipment tracking, providing timely status updates, and offering comprehensive account support. Collaborating closely with our Sales, Sales Support, and Operations teams, you will contribute to enhancing our customer experience.
Qualifications:- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a freight forwarding capacity is essential, ideally in a customer service or operations role.
- Experience with the ERP system, CargoWise One, is necessary.
- Prior experience in updating or negotiating client rates is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Strong and effective communication skills are crucial.
- Update NSA and VIP account rates to facilitate new bookings and shipments.
- Validate and confirm all bookings for ocean, trucking, rail, and air shipments.
- Oversee shipments from origin to final destination to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Provide clients with shipment updates, including location tracking, pickup numbers, estimated arrival times, and last free day notifications.
- Foster customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Handle daily correspondence from customers and other OEC offices regarding shipment specifics.
- Direct customer inquiries to the appropriate departments and provide accurate responses.
- Utilize daily customer service reports to ensure all release requirements are fulfilled prior to container arrival at their final destination.
- $22-$28/hour based on relevant experience and educational background.
- Hybrid work model (1 day per week remote); laptop provided by OEC Group.
