About the Role
  • As a Billing and Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and data entry operations within our organization.

You will work closely with our billing team to ensure efficient and effective management of patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing data entry tasks, including gathering charges from pMD software and obtaining patient lists for demographic entry.
  • Entering patient demographic information into the EMR system from remote sites or pMD software.
  • Obtaining medical records and retrieving insurance authorization numbers.
  • Verifying patient insurance information and updating records as necessary.
  • Scanning documents into shared drives and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a minimum one year of data entry experience in a medical setting.
