Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements for Medicaid compliance and specific Medicaid population health dashboards.
  • Develop and/or optimize ETL/ELT processes to ensure data is processed efficiently and effectively in the Snowflake Data Lakehouse.
  • Manage and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making in Medicaid programs.
  • Ensure data governance and security standards are adhered to, particularly concerning sensitive health and Medicaid data.
  • Perform regular audits and data validation to ensure the integrity of reporting systems and outputs.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Snowflake, data Lakehouse architectures, and health analytics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, information systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data reporting, analytics, and data engineering.
  • Expertise in Snowflake and hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Lakehouse architectures.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Experience in healthcare data analytics, particularly Medicaid, compliance, and population health.
  • Familiarity with data governance and HIPAA regulations.
  • Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create dashboards and reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.
  • Experience with enterprise and/or complex developments, using Agile Software Development Approaches.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proven ability to initiate, investigate, and solve technical issues with minimal technical oversight.
