The Audio Visual Technician is tasked with the installation and management of audio and visual systems for clients. This role demands exceptional customer service capabilities, a thorough understanding of audiovisual technology, and proficiency in networking systems, along with the ability to resolve any technical challenges that may occur.

Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with the opportunity for 4-day work weeks every other week.

Key Responsibilities of the Audio Visual Technician

  • Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of audio and video equipment, including projectors, speakers, and other home theater systems as required.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Offer technical assistance and guidance to clients.
  • Keep precise records of equipment inventory, vehicle maintenance, and repairs.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with audio and visual equipment.
  • Understanding of control systems is advantageous.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems swiftly and accurately.
  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
