About Senior Helpers East San Diego

As a Nurse and Physician Operated Agency, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for Seniors in our community. Many of the individuals we support are Veterans, creating a special connection with Military Spouses.

Responsibilities

In the role of a Caregiver, you will assist Seniors with a variety of daily tasks, including:

  • Meal preparation and organization
  • Providing transportation for errands and appointments
  • Light housekeeping and laundry assistance
  • Medication reminders
  • Support with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Engagement in daily enrichment activities

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting Seniors. Candidates should be comfortable providing non-medical, hands-on assistance. While current CNAs and those with prior Home Care Aide training or certifications are preferred, they are not mandatory. Our Caregiver Mentor Program will provide tailored training for each Caregiver.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • HCA # with Livescan (or ability to obtain it)
  • Recent TB Results (within the last 60 days)
