Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Finishing Specialist B to join our team at PCX Aerosystems. As a Finishing Specialist B, you will be responsible for performing complex polishing and finishing operations on production or overhaul and repair parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work from drawings, sketches, and computer-generated information to plan polishing, finishing, or re-work operations.
  • Follow standard finishing applications to achieve dimensional integrity and required finish characteristics.
  • Perform precise chamfering operations on parts without damaging other critical dimensions.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to gage critical dimensions and tolerance limits.
  • Participate in Lean production and Continuous Improvement projects to drive efficiency improvements.
  • Work safely at all times and participate in safety improvement initiatives.
Requirements

This is a full-time position working first shift at our Newington, CT location. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of material characteristics and be able to determine the appropriate wheel, grit, compound, or abrasive texture to use in order to achieve desired finish and dimension.
