As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, maintaining internal controls, and providing support for financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter journal entries, including accruals, to properly record business transactions.
  • Prepare detailed expense schedules for P&L accounts and complete monthly account reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Support local management and the Divisional Controller with weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Ensure revenue recognition is done correctly, all invoices are billed in the period, and payments are accurately applied.
  • Reconcile the bank account daily and submit reporting to Corporate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 3-4 years of experience in a General Ledger Accountant position.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts, including account reconciliations, amortization, and accruals.
  • Ability to track transactions through the system and reconcile information between multiple information systems.
  • Experience with actual versus forecast reporting and explaining variances.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with M3, Concur, and Planful experience preferred.
