Position Summary

Publicis Health CoLab is in search of a Freelance Vice President of Project Management to join a robust team dedicated to pioneering innovations for our clients. The ideal candidate will be an expert in project and program management, serving as a mentor and advocate. This individual will be a trusted collaborator capable of guiding both internal and external teams to ensure a shared understanding of all deliverables and drive them to successful outcomes.

The Vice President of Project Management will possess a comprehensive understanding of agency deliverables, overseeing a team responsible for executing work for a significant client portfolio. This role will involve collaboration with various departments to address operational challenges, promote continuous process enhancements, and advocate for the overall project management team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the program to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs that enhance client satisfaction, fulfill business needs, and balance client and agency economics.
  • Defining the delivery framework and overarching vision for projects while overseeing multiple initiatives within a client relationship.
  • Managing project definition, scope, budgeting, and timelines at the account level.
  • Driving process improvements and directing the efforts of one or more project managers and senior project managers.
  • Engaging extensively with senior client executives, marketing, technical, and product management teams to ensure that solutions meet the customer's business requirements.
  • Overseeing the financial management of the assigned project portfolio.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager in an agency environment.
  • Experience in fully integrated delivery (marketing, technical, digital, etc.) is essential.
  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector is mandatory.
  • Experience with product launches is preferred.
  • Proficient in project and program management methodologies.
  • Skilled in strategic program and tactical planning.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including issue identification, risk management, and detailed work plan development.
  • Comfortable managing cross-functional teams, including creatives, technologists, and media specialists.
  • Experience in client and vendor interactions on technical delivery projects.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
