Role Summary

In support of our Venice Beach location, the Member Experience Associate plays a pivotal role in fostering connections within NeueHouse. Reporting to the Membership Manager, this position establishes the benchmark for service excellence for all members, guests, vendors, and team members.

As the face of our community, the Member Experience Associate is responsible for welcoming members and visitors, managing member and guest registrations, organizing meeting spaces, maintaining shared areas, and serving as the primary communication link for both internal and external interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the culture of NeueHouse, embodying our core values of generosity, authenticity, curiosity, and kindness while fostering an atmosphere of creativity and high-quality service.
  • Deliver consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to all members and guests.
  • Oversee the Front Desk, guest waiting area, and Membership desk to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Manage the flow of guests and members, including check-ins and notifications of arrivals.
  • Gain exposure to various departments within NeueHouse, with training on essential systems such as Tripleseat, Resy, Nexudus, Splash, Toast, and the NeueHouse Mobile App.
  • Facilitate timely connections between guests and members using internal communication tools.
  • Effectively communicate member needs to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist the IT team in addressing member technical inquiries.
  • Handle incoming calls and direct communications appropriately.
  • Manage incoming mail and coordinate messenger services.
  • Engage with members and guests regarding events, programs, and amenities offered.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the NeueHouse brand.
  • Facilitate introductions between members for networking and social opportunities.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail, capable of anticipating member needs and resolving issues calmly.
  • A collaborative spirit, able to work effectively with team members.
  • Diverse educational and professional backgrounds are valued.
  • A network in hospitality, design, or creative industries is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Frequent reaching, balancing, stooping, and bending.
  • Occasional climbing and kneeling may be required.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 10 pounds.
