We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our Orthopedics & Spine Unit-M2 team. This role requires a compassionate and caring individual who can provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered, and apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients, and direct and guide ancillary personnel to maintain standards of professional nursing.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, and administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills, and knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques.
