$21.00 Per Hour - SEASONAL Deli/Food Service Role

We are seeking enthusiastic SEASONAL team members for our Deli/Food Service department who are passionate about food and dedicated to meeting our customers' needs. If you thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment and enjoy culinary tasks, this opportunity is for you. We are looking for adaptable individuals who can efficiently handle various food preparation stations, including BBQ, baked goods, sandwiches, tacos, jerky, and more. A friendly demeanor and the ability to work well with others are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • $21 / hour SEASONAL
  • Enhance culinary skills while preparing bakery items, jerky, fudge, BBQ, and other menu selections
  • Follow Buc-ee's exclusive food service recipes while maintaining confidentiality
  • Adhere to all culinary guidelines and measurements set by the company
  • Comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards for all food products
  • Ensure safe food handling practices
  • Effectively utilize various Menu Ordering Kiosks, Kitchen Management Systems, and transaction devices
  • Maintain a tidy work area while promptly fulfilling customer orders
  • Communicate effectively with store management and fellow team members
  • Safely operate a variety of kitchen equipment, including mixers, slicers, ovens, knives, and fryers
  • Engage professionally with both team members and customers
  • Flexibility to perform additional duties as required
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as necessary
  • Willingness to adapt to a rotating schedule that may include day and night shifts
  • Consistent and punctual attendance
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Position Requirements:
  • Availability for work during the SEASONAL period
  • Preferred experience in restaurant or retail settings, including roles such as kitchen line cook, busser, server, or service staff
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours or more
  • Frequent physical activities including bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting items weighing 40 lbs. or more
