Job Title: Principal UI/UX Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal UI/UX Developer to join our team at Vatica Health. As a key member of our front-end development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing user-centric web interfaces that meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain UI components that ensure consistent branding and style across our products.
  • Collaborate with UX/Product designers to create visually appealing, functional, and responsive web interfaces.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions that focus on maintainability, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and enforce coding standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to other engineers to improve the overall team's work.
  • Collaborate with product managers, project managers, designers, and other teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
Requirements:
  • 9+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Deep understanding of frontend architecture and improving build processes.
  • Experience scaling and architecting CSS across multiple projects and products.
  • Experience with responsive UI design across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Architecting and promoting a library of reusable components.
  • Understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Driving adoption of industry standards for building user interfaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with SDLC processes and Agile practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.

The salary for this position is typically determined by multiple factors, including qualifications, experience, skills, and location. The projected compensation range for this position may vary based on these factors and could range from $115,000 to $135,000 (annualized USD). However, this estimate represents just one aspect of our total compensation package offered.
