Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and perform respiratory therapies to meet individual patient needs
  • Foster strong relationships with patients and their families through education, companionship, and empathy
  • Review patient records and view chest x-rays to determine presence of or changes in consolidation, atelectasis, pneumothorax, and endotracheal tube position
  • Perform bedside spirometry, pulmonary mechanics, weaning parameters, and peak flows
  • Set up ECG recordings and Holter monitors
