Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of post-graduate experience in an orthopedic or sports medicine setting, with a focus on joint injections. They must be certified as a nurse practitioner and proficient in performing tasks such as X-ray interpretation, casting, bracing, and splinting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and surgical assistance according to State guidelines and under the direction of the supervising physician and/or Medical Director
  • Coordinate treatment plans and assist in the management of preoperative and postoperative care
  • Work with patient pain management
  • Develop comprehensive plans of care and collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity of quality care
  • Perform physical examinations, compile medical data, and record medical history and implement treatment plans on new and established patients
  • Order diagnostic studies when indicated
Requirements
  • Experienced Nurse Practitioner with 1+ years of professional experience
  • At least 1 year of post-graduate experience in an Orthopedic and/or Pain Management setting
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner, proficient in joint injections
  • Experience with sprains, strains, fractures, joint, muscle, tendon, and nerve injuries
