  • Completing stress analysis of high-pressure systems
  • Creating 3D assemblies, production 2D drawings, and completing tolerance analysis for test systems
  • Completing failure analysis to ensure high safety standards are achieved
  • Collaborating with machine shops and engineering teams to ensure test system designs meet overall test goals

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, such as pressure transducers, accelerometers, thermocouples, and RTDs
  • Hands-on experience using and designing high-pressure static and/or dynamic test systems

Preferred skills and experience include:

  • 3+ years of experience in the design of aerospace or automotive test systems
  • Exposure to high-volume production testing systems
  • Experience with fatigue and thermal testing
  • Hands-on experience with shock tube testing
  • Experience with NX and TeamCenter
