Specimen Handler

Actalent is seeking a skilled Specimen Handler to join our team. As a Specimen Handler, you will play a critical role in supporting the laboratory's operations by handling and processing biological specimens.

• Collect and transport specimens from processing stations to the handling area.
• Prepare specimens for centrifugation and other laboratory tests.
• Maintain accurate records of specimen handling and processing.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient specimen handling and processing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable working with human samples and adhering to quality regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
