Job Summary

The Banquet Captain is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banquets and events at Hillwood Country Club. This includes coordinating with the kitchen and service staff to deliver high-quality food and beverage service, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to deliver high-quality food and beverage service
  • Maintain a clean and safe dining environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquets and events
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies
  • Assist with the training and evaluation of service staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Alcoholic Beverage Certification
Working Conditions

The Banquet Captain will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to noise, heat, and humidity. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting, and bending. The Banquet Captain must be able to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests.
