Job Overview
This role operates with a degree of autonomy, employing independent judgment and analytical skills to manage, organize, and execute intricate professional accounting and budgeting tasks. Responsibilities include the computation, documentation, reporting, auditing, and statistical evaluation of financial transactions. The position also involves monitoring and maintaining financial records, including budgetary, payroll, and cost records. Additionally, the role encompasses planning, developing, and instituting new and revised accounting and budgeting methodologies.
The individual will lead and coordinate the efforts of departmental staff and provide technical and procedural support to administrators, program managers, and Local Educational Agencies (LEAs), ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications / Requirements
Applicants should possess a combination of experience and education that equates to at least five (5) years of responsible accounting experience, with a minimum of two (2) years at an accountant level or equivalent.
