About the Role

The Surgical Operations Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring seamless patient care in our operating rooms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting and positioning patients for surgery, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting our nursing staff with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with room turnovers, including cleaning furniture and equipment
  • Remove soiled laundry, empty trash receptacles, and maintain a tidy environment
  • Provide stretchers for patient transportation as needed
  • Restock scrub sink supplies, hair and shoe coverings, masks, and other necessary PPE
  • Maintain areas and departments in an organized fashion
  • Perform daily/weekly inventory checks and notify relevant personnel of supply needs

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate between $21.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of job-related experience in an inpatient or outpatient surgery center
  • Basic computer knowledge and working knowledge of medical terminology
