Key Responsibilities
  • Develops, organizes, and delivers educational initiatives across all shifts and departments.
  • Engages in the staff evaluation process by maintaining attendance records and assessing employee performance.
  • Conducts comprehensive facility orientation for new hires and ongoing educational sessions.
  • Creates and maintains a monthly and annual calendar of educational offerings.
  • Ensures that Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) fulfill the required annual 12-hour in-service training.
  • Actively participates in quality assurance initiatives and communicates concerns to management.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
  • Current CPR certification.
