Cybersecurity Lead

Aretum, a reputable government contracting company, is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Lead to spearhead the development and implementation of effective cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures for our government clients.
Our mission is to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the unique needs of our government clients, enabling them to achieve their objectives effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures for government clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and prioritize potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Manage and oversee a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure the effective delivery of services.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cybersecurity and provide guidance and recommendations to clients.
- Participate in incident response activities and lead incident investigations and remediation efforts.
- Provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs to educate employees and clients on cybersecurity best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on policy development, risk management, and incident response.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Experience leading and managing a team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Government contracting experience is a plus.
