Position Summary

The Festoon Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling electrical and mechanical components to create superior festoon systems. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly of various structural and electrical components.
  • Execute electrical installations following precise wiring specifications.
  • Utilize necessary tools for the assembly process.
  • Connect color-coded wiring accurately.
  • Conduct testing and adjustments of electrical assemblies.
  • Collaborate with supervisors or engineers to resolve assembly issues.
  • Provide insights to engineering and sales teams regarding design challenges.
  • Participate in field service and startup duties as needed.
  • Ensure the accuracy of inputs from engineering, sales, and manufacturing departments.
  • Support and promote quality systems and policies throughout the organization.
  • Implement and maintain 5S program initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly.
  • Experience with cut-off saws and drill presses.
  • Soldering skills are advantageous.
  • The ability to read blueprints is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using measurement devices.
