Job Summary

As the Store Manager for Soleply Sneaker Store, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations and ensuring the efficient and successful functioning of the business. You will lead a team of dedicated sales associates and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your primary objective is to drive sales, maximize profitability, and maintain the store's reputation as a premier destination for sneaker enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Store Management:
    • Hire, train, and mentor a team of sales associates to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
    • Schedule staff efficiently to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Foster a positive and motivating work environment to enhance employee morale and productivity.
  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Set sales goals and create strategies to achieve them, both on an individual and store-wide basis.
    • Implement effective sales techniques and provide ongoing coaching to the sales team.
    • Ensure the team is knowledgeable about the products and able to assist customers in finding the right footwear.
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Merchandising and Visual Presentation:
    • Oversee the store's visual merchandising to create an appealing and attractive shopping environment.
    • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with buyers to ensure the store has a diverse and up-to-date sneaker selection.
    • Organize and maintain inventory to minimize shrinkage and stock loss.
  • Store Operations:
    • Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and appropriate stock levels.
    • Implement loss prevention measures to safeguard the store's assets.
  • Marketing and Promotions:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional events and marketing campaigns.
    • Content Creation for company Social Media Platforms
    • Engage with the local sneaker community through social media and other channels to build brand awareness.
    • Identify opportunities for partnerships or collaborations to enhance the store's reputation.
  • Financial Management:
    • Monitor and analyze sales data and key performance indicators to make data-driven decisions.
    • Prepare and manage the store's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
    • Implement pricing strategies to optimize sales and profitability.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in retail management, ideally within the footwear or sneaker industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing and motivating employees.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong customer relationships.
  • Passion and knowledge about sneaker culture, fashion trends, and the latest releases.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and during peak shopping seasons.
