About the Role:

As a Training Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning, developing, and facilitating nursing education programs that meet the needs of our healthcare team. You will work closely with educators, clinicians, and other stakeholders to design and deliver training programs that promote excellence in patient care and improve health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of training programs, including needs assessment, curriculum development, and evaluation.
  • Supervise and perform performance evaluations on training program participants, ensuring they meet performance objectives and clinical outcomes.
  • Utilize principles of adult learning to provide training consistent with the Novice to Expert model and differing levels of patient care across the continuum.
  • Contribute educational expertise to facilitate and enhance achievement of individual, departmental, and organizational goals.
  • Maintain knowledge of national, local, and facility trends in nursing practice, and promote continuous improvement to training programs.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Leadership skills and effective communication.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
  • Previous teaching experience in formal or informal settings.
  • Current valid State of Florida or multi-state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Life Support (per specialty) certification.
