Position Overview

The Risk Management Advisor evaluates the risk management landscape for our clients across various sectors.

This includes performing on-site evaluations, examining risk vulnerabilities and incidents, and reviewing risk data with an emphasis on simpler accounts.

The advisor is crucial in offering suggestions, tailoring strategies, and ensuring the execution of effective risk management initiatives for clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify property and general liability issues through on-site evaluations or by analyzing third-party inspection documents.

2. Relay identified life safety, operational, and property issues to RealREPP LLC's Underwriting, Claims, Account Management, and Agency teams through reports or other communication methods.

3. Conduct loss evaluations to create and implement customized loss management strategies that meet the specific requirements of the client.
4. Present effectively to audiences at all organizational levels.

5. Collaborate with senior colleagues and management to develop risk management educational resources, including articles and templates for distribution to clients.

6. Exhibit the physical capability to traverse properties, ascend staircases, and use ladders to inspect building elements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both small groups and larger audiences.

Required Qualifications:
- Two to four years of experience in risk management or safety.
- Bachelor's Degree in safety, engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or equivalent certifications.
- Familiarity with general liability, property insurance, and various insurance products and applications.
- Experience in apartment real estate or public housing management.
