We are in search of a seasoned and board-certified Physician to take on the pivotal role of Associate Vice President, Medical Operations for our Urgent Care Services division. This position is crucial for ensuring that our employed physicians adhere to the highest professional standards.
The AVP, Medical Operations for Urgent Care Services will be tasked with:
- Defining and guiding best practice standards, which includes the formulation of clinical policies, procedures, regulations, and operational methods pertinent to the GoHealth Urgent Care Network.
- Establishing quality benchmarks and spearheading initiatives for process enhancement.
- Delivering direct patient care as a scheduled provider for the designated number of hours per pay period, as outlined by leadership, with a focus on 75% administrative and 25% clinical duties.
- Contributing to the development and promotion of the GoHealth Network's strategy to enhance visibility and improve the perception of the Program among healthcare providers and community members.
- Engaging in strategic and operational planning, as well as the creation of patient education materials and seminars related to the GoHealth Urgent Care Network.
- Collaborating closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Market President of the network, along with the operational team, to implement optimal operational practices.
- Overseeing and partnering with Associate Medical Directors and/or Advanced Practitioner Leads in all clinical services across assigned urgent care centers and regions.
- Being primarily accountable for the quality of care and all clinical issues related to caregivers within the designated region.
BENEFITS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A total of 10 years of experience: Five (5) years of recent clinical practice as a physician and five (5) years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Current Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or a combination of Medicine/Pediatrics.
- Valid Medical Doctor license in the state of Texas.
- Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency license.
