Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Masters Mental Health Professional to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our outpatient mental health team, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a range of mental health needs, including crisis intervention and psychotherapy.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and support to members and their families to promote adherence to treatment plans.
  • Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • May supervise post-graduate mental health professionals and participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment and demonstrate commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a multidisciplinary clinic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous post-licensure experience in a psychiatric treatment team setting, preferably in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Experience in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and behavioral medicine.
  • Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods.
