Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to members.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of member treatment, progress, and outcomes, adhering to state and NCQA regulations.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to members, families, and caregivers on mental health topics, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff members, including post-graduate fellows and associate clinicians, to ensure their professional growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, preferably in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-Graduate Experience: Previous experience as a licensed mental health professional in an outpatient or inpatient setting, preferably in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Specialized Training: Training in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and evidence-based practices.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff members, including post-graduate fellows and associate clinicians.
