Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our data center facilities, hybrid cloud environments, and virtual machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure management, cloud computing, and data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, coordination, implementation, and execution of approved policies, programs, and services related to data center services.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of data center facilities, hybrid cloud environments, and virtual machines.
  • Coordinate with third-party cloud vendors for troubleshooting and support.
  • Ensure compliance with data center operational standards.
  • Manage the physical environment of the data center, including power distribution, environmental controls, and network cabling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience directing the planning, coordination, implementation, and execution of approved policies, programs, and services related to data center services.
  • 8+ years of experience in data center management, including virtualized environments, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of data center management, including design, infrastructure, maintenance, and operations.

  • Certified Data Center Management Professional (CDCMP)
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification
  • ITIL Foundation

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $72,700 to $99,500 per year, benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary is $81,900. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance options, life and disability insurance, retirement plan contributions, paid leave, federal holidays, professional development, and lifestyle benefits.
