Job Summary

Lakeshore Talent is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to drive growth through strategic partnerships and high-value deals. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to expand our global presence and foster strong client relationships.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you will personally execute all aspects of the business development process, including developing and implementing a strategic plan, identifying and engaging potential customers, leading end-to-end deal processes, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to expand clientele and revenue streams, focusing on high-dollar deals and international clients.
  • Identify and engage potential customers and partners, fostering strong and lasting relationships through exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Lead end-to-end deal processes for high-value opportunities, including analyzing requirements, financials, and technical compatibility, and negotiate contracts while ensuring seamless integration with operations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements while ensuring seamless integration with operations, building credibility with clients by engaging in technical discussions and demonstrating a deep understanding of product capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Technical Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree is a plus, with 10+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally at the director level.
  • Experience working with government stakeholders is a plus, and hardware-based sales expertise is essential, with proven success managing high-value, complex deals from initial contact through closure.
  • Exceptional ability to build relationships and credibility with clients, including global stakeholders and high-level executives, and strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills are necessary.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment, and technical expertise in quantum computing or a related high-tech hardware field is highly preferred.

  • Location: Preference for candidates based in Colorado, with up to 50% travel required; remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
  • Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 base salary with bonus potential and equity options, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced professionals.
