Outpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transplant and Cellular Therapy Clinic at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing bone marrow transplants and those with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide emotional, spiritual, religious, and cultural support to patients and their significant others
- Apply principles of oncology nursing
- Consider age-related factors in the assessment, care, and treatment of oncology patients
- Consider principles of death and dying when caring for terminally ill oncology patients
**Requirements**
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Provider - preferred
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification - preferred
