Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop and implement education plans to promote patient understanding and self-management of their health conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The nurse will be required to stand for long periods, lift patients, and move equipment as needed. The nurse will also be required to work in a variety of settings, including patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency departments.
