Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal physical well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in achieving their physical therapy goals through treatment, testing, and education
  • Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide high-quality care to clients in their homes, promoting independence and safety
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of MD
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • At least one year of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
