Academic Tutor

Job Summary

Moulton College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maths Instructor to join our team. As a Maths Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and training to students and other client groups, ensuring that they meet the quality standards set by the College.

Key Responsibilities

• Lecture and train students and other client groups in Maths to GCSE level, as directed by the Head of School.
• Tutor and manage one or more courses or groups of students, providing guidance and support to ensure their academic success.
• Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum, working closely with the Head of School to ensure that it is relevant and effective.
• Act as a course tutor to full-time and part-time groups, organizing and administering course activities, monitoring attendance, and collecting data for course evaluation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be educated to Level 3 in a relevant subject and hold or be willing to work towards a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent. You will also need to have up-to-date experience and knowledge of the Maths GCSE curriculum and experience of working in a Further Education setting is desirable.
