About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Recovery Manager to join our Special Assets team at First Interstate Bancsystem Inc.

This is a senior-level position responsible for managing a portfolio of complex problem assets, focusing on restructuring, rehabilitation, and collection. The successful candidate will have a strong background in credit analysis, negotiation, and risk management.

Job Summary

The Senior Asset Recovery Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of complex problem assets, including developing workout strategies and goals
  • Negotiating with borrowers regarding restructuring, collection, and enforcement activities
  • Preparing comprehensive quarterly problem loan reports
  • Maintaining compliance with all state and federal banking laws and regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • More than 10 years of experience in special asset management or a related field
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Advanced financial, credit, and collateral analysis skills

  • Base salary: $124,430 - $205,309 per year
