Summit Medical Staffing Allied is currently seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to fill a 12-week travel position in Rapid City, South Dakota.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Compensation and BenefitsThe pay package for this position is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. In addition to a competitive salary, Summit Medical Staffing Allied offers a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a referral bonus and license and certification reimbursement.

Requirements and Qualifications- A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., radiologic sciences, healthcare administration)
- Current certification as a radiologic technologist (RT) or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a diagnostic imaging setting, preferably with a focus on radiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
- Perform diagnostic imaging exams, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout the examination process
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to hospital policies and procedures
