Busser/Server Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser/Server Assistant to join our team at Lawry's. As a Busser/Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Consistently meet Lawry's standards as an ambassador of the restaurant, providing quality, professionalism, and positive guest relations.
  • Assist with Meal Service: Participate in the timely introduction of guests, description of food and beverage selections, expedient delivery of meal service, and verification of meal satisfaction.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Pre-bus tables, unload dishes, silverware, and glassware, and reset tables for new parties.
  • Work Effectively with the Team: Demonstrate effective teamwork and cooperation with co-workers, management, vendors, and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Previous Restaurant Experience: At least one year of restaurant service experience in a high-volume establishment is required.
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand and walk for up to eight hours during a shift, carry up to 100 lbs. without assistance, and exert up to 150 lbs. of force without straining.
  • Availability: Be available and willing to work all scheduled shifts within the priority scheduling and seniority systems as established at each location.
