Job Summary

As a skilled Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in need. Your expertise will be essential in delivering routine, standardized nursing care to patients under the supervision of a physician.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other activities related to direct patient care.
  2. Arrange for patient appointments for diagnostic testing, consults, referrals, and admission to the hospital.
  3. Monitor and maintain stock of medical supplies and ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
  4. Document patient vital statistics and other encounter data into the patient chart, ensuring all required records are complete.
  5. Obtain brief medical history and chief complaint from patients.
  6. Call in prescriptions for patients according to physician order.
  7. Prepare exam rooms with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  8. Clean exam rooms between procedures and exams.
  9. Receive and return clinically related telephone calls, screening and forwarding those requiring physician action.
  10. Complete medical/physical history forms and other related information for insurance companies.
  11. Inform physicians of changes in schedule.
