  • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing items, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Operate and maintain a cash register, collecting monies, counting change, and preparing receipts.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of merchandise and displays, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and assist customers who are donating items, providing a welcoming and inclusive experience.
  • Maintain the neatness and security of the cash register area, securing merchandise and the cash register.
  • Clean display racks and shelves, sweep and mop floors, and clean windows and mirrors, ensuring a clean and safe store environment.
  • Answer the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience working in a retail store preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in the English language.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and accurately perform routine mathematical computations and count change.
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and move around the store.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and reach, with occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
