Cox Communications is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part Time Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Explain and demonstrate product capabilities to customers, providing personalized recommendations and solutions.
  • Meet or exceed sales, retention, and customer experience targets, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos to stay up-to-date on the latest products and services.
  • Support fellow sales agents and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and services, as well as competitor offerings, through regular training and development opportunities.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to meet sales, retention, and customer experience targets, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products and services.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to assist with stock room inventory.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Some college experience, with a focus on sales, business, and/or management.
  • One year of experience in a related field, such as sales, retail sales, or service industry.
  • Experience selling wireless or mobile products.
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
