The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering quality care consistent with the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Registered Nurses. This includes working in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, delegating and ensuring supervision of nursing activities and functions to other competent nursing personnel, and assuming responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered.
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi, and active CPR certification. They will also remain knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice and demonstrate aptitude through satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies.
