Maintenance Manager Job Description

Actalent is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead a team of 8 technicians across 3 shifts at our Springfield, Kentucky facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting, and implementing predictive and preventive maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of technicians to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Assist with equipment breakdowns and troubleshooting for escalation
  • Implement predictive and preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
  • Monitor spare part inventories and optimize ordering processes
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and analyze maintenance activities
  • Prepare and analyze reports to inform maintenance strategies
  • Implement the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Program to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • PLC programming experience (Mitsubishi)
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Maintenance management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
