Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our Water Resources Engineering team. As a Co-op Student, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and water and sewer mains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design of water and wastewater projects for small to large-sized facilities
  • Collaborate with technical staff to develop cost estimates and plan layouts
  • Work with engineers and CAD staff to develop preliminary planning documents
  • Assist with the design of projects and observe construction projects
  • Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and business stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Strong interest in water resources as a career path
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Previous Co-op work experience is an asset
