About the Opportunity

iSeatz is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer Leader to join our team and drive continuous quality improvement efforts. As a remote role, this position can be located anywhere inside the continental United States.

The Senior Quality Engineer Leader will lead a team of quality engineers to develop and implement the overall QA strategy and processes, aligning quality standards with organizational goals. This role is essential to ensuring the delivery of high-quality technology products that meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Hire, develop, evaluate, reward, and retain a highly qualified team of quality engineers
    • Encourage employees to take ownership of their roles and objectives
    • Work with our people operations team to organize programs to enhance the technical and soft skills of the QA team members
  • Strategic and Operational Guidance:
    • Develop and implement the overall QA strategy and processes
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into the entire software process
  • Product and Technical Command:
    • Design and develop test plans and test cases based upon business and design specifications
    • Critically assess and understand technical test challenges within each sprint and collaborate with engineering and devops to recommend feasible solutions
Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned professional with 10+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance/testing, automation, and/or software development. You should have 5+ years of people management experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.

A strong understanding of software development, testing tools, automation frameworks, and programming languages is essential. Additionally, you should be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and possess analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

The estimated salary for this role is $130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This figure is based on industry standards for similar positions in the continental United States.
