Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Applied Behavior Analyst Assistant. This is a full-time, in-person, non-exempt entry-level position designed for individuals who are passionate about pursuing a career in applied behavior analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of high-quality ABA services to students in specialized and therapeutic educational settings.
  • Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to assist with daily therapeutic and educational activities.
  • Gain hands-on experience in conducting comprehensive functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and functional analyses.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Collect data and document student progress toward goals.
  • Maintain consistency of BIPs by communicating and providing input to teachers and other staff.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive treatment strategies.
  • Develop positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
  • Communicate and work cooperatively with co-workers and students to meet student needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Education, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proof of admission/enrollment for an associate degree pathway program resulting in Applied Behavior Analyst certification.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with emotional and/or developmental disorders (a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ethical and professional standards.
Working Conditions

The work environment may be moderate to loud, and the employee must work with students and other staff, continuously meeting multiple demands. Occasionally, the work environment may be stressful. Behavioral self-control and a professional demeanor must be displayed at all times.
