Medical Specimen Collector

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at LabCorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform venipuncture and capillary techniques to collect blood specimens from patients of all ages
* Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other types of testing
* Enter patient information into our database accurately and efficiently
* Process billing information and collect payments as needed
* Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
* Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
* Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
