About the Role

We are seeking highly skilled Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with acute care experience in ER, Urgent Care, or Internal Medicine to join our dynamic team serving the Fort Myers, FL community. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will work alongside a Medical Technician to deliver high-quality care to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat complex illnesses, and provide therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and coordinate follow-up appointments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize patient-centered care and address specific needs and goals.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient encounters, ensuring adherence to evidence-based standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Educate patients and families on self-care techniques, disease management strategies, and healthy lifestyle habits to promote optimal well-being.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an APP in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital, Family Practice, Cardiac, Pulmonary, or other relevant areas.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited institution and current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Nationally board certified and current BLS required; ACLS certification preferred.
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
